ARCHITECTURAL MOLDED COMPOSITES,
INC. produces architectural ornamentation and fine art fabricated
in GFRC and GFRP. Old world artisans have more than 25 years of experience
in recreating architectural details. Our crafts-persons make molds
from drawings or template, as well as, from existing or recreated models
on site. Each element is treated with the sensitivity of a
work of art. Virtually any material can be reproduced: limestone,
terra cotta, marble, bronze or other metals,
Architectural Molded Composites can design
the attachments for each component item and also provide shop drawings
for project in coordination with structural details. Architectural Molded
Composites’ fiberglass is easy to install, maintenance free, light weight
and resistant to water and chemicals. Ultraviolet stabilizers and
inhibitors are incorporated in component materials to prevent fading, ultraviolet
degradation, and to assure the product’s continuing durability and weather
resistance. Architectural Molded Composites technique in fiberglass
application is a perfect alternative to utilizing stone, terra cotta, metal
and wood, and can replicate the look of any of these materials. Architectural
Molded Composites’ fiberglass reinforced products have been approved for
interior and exterior use by the New York City Building Department.
Our products are ASTM rated (American Society for Testing & Materials).
Architectural Molded Composites’ products
have been recommended by the Landmarks Preservation Society and Friends
of Terra Cotta in New York.
Architectural Molded Composites has been awarded
in 1994 with the First Annual Advance Construction Technology Award, sponsored
by the Construction Information Group of McGraw-Hill. This award
was presented to our company for outstanding innovation and advance in
construction technology, as demonstrated in the Dudley Station Project-
Roxbury, Massachusetts.
